New brand leverages leadership in nitinol “melt to market” capabilities

Bethel, Conn. – SAES Memry, a world leader in the invention and development of nitinol, unveiled a new brand today. The move comes as the company continues to consolidate operations among three entities—SAES Memry, SAES Smart Materials, and Memry GmbH—under what will now be called Memry. Memry’s parent company is SAES Getters, located in Milan, Italy.
Along with the new name, Memry is adopting a new brand identity, including logo, tagline (nitinol +), and brand look and feel. Messaging focuses on the “melt to market” capabilities that Memry’s vertical integration provides to customers, from the primary melting of alloys and superalloys to the assembly of completed components for medical, industrial and commercial applications.
“Our intent is to streamline and therefore strengthen our presence in the nitinol industry,” says Memry CEO Nicola Di Bartolomeo. “We can offer the full spectrum of nitinol services, from our metallurgy and material know-how to our long record of experience helping companies bring nitinol-based components to market. The new brand elements are represented in the company’s re-launched web site (http://memry.com) and capabilities brochure, which is available on the web site for download.
The rebrand will be supported by an expanded presence at trade shows, beginning with MD&M West in Anaheim, Calif. next week and in trade magazine advertising.
